Delete your Delroba account

This page explains how users of Delroba, also shown as دلربا, can delete their account and associated data. You can delete your account directly in the app, or request deletion from support if you no longer have access to the app.
How to request account deletion
- Delete from inside the Delroba app. Open Delroba and go to Profile > Settings > Account > Delete Account. Type DELETE when prompted, then confirm. This is the fastest option because you are already signed in.
- Request deletion by email if you cannot access the app. Email [email protected] with the subject Delete my Delroba account. Send the request from the email address or recovery email connected to your Delroba account when possible.
- Include only the details needed to find your account. Include your name, account email or recovery email, and the phone number used for sign-in if your Delroba account uses phone authentication. Do not send your password, payment card details, government ID, verification selfies, or other sensitive documents by email.
Verification and timing
For your security, Delroba verifies that the requester controls the account before processing deletion. In-app deletion uses your signed-in Delroba session. Email requests may require additional verification using information already associated with the account.
Verified deletion requests are typically completed within 30 days. If we cannot verify account ownership, we may ask for more information before deleting the account.
Data deleted from active systems
When your account is deleted, Delroba deletes or removes the following data from active production systems:
- Firebase Authentication account and sign-in identity for Delroba.
- Delroba profile details, public discovery profile, preferences, account settings, notification settings, and recovery-email account links.
- Profile photos, photo verification uploads, verification documents, and voice-message files associated with conversations that are deleted with the account.
- Likes, passes, matches, blocks, reports, profile views, usage-event records, conversations, messages, and references to your account in other members' match or block lists.
- Presence data such as last-active records stored for account visibility features.
Data we may keep
Some limited information may be retained after account deletion when needed for security, legal, accounting, or dispute-resolution purposes:
- Backups and system logs: retained for up to 90 days before automatic expiry.
- Deletion request correspondence: retained for up to 24 months so we can document and verify that the request was handled.
- Safety, fraud-prevention, abuse, and legal records: retained only as long as reasonably necessary for safety review, fraud prevention, dispute handling, legal claims, or compliance obligations.
- Purchase records: purchases and subscriptions are processed by Apple or Google. Delroba may retain limited entitlement or transaction references where needed for accounting, chargebacks, tax, fraud-prevention, or legal compliance.
Subscriptions
Deleting your Delroba account does not automatically cancel a subscription managed by Apple, Google Play, or another app store. To stop future billing, cancel the subscription through the store account where you purchased it.
